Mental wellness starts with you.

Support. Clarity. Balance.

Asking for help takes courage.

Building a secure, therapeutic relationship allows you to feel seen, heard and more willing to explore difficult feelings or issues.

It is my job to provide a space for you to move through those emotions, discuss different strategies or interventions, and work alongside you to find stability.

I offer a free 15-minute discovery call to make sure we are a good fit.

Counselling services are offered in-person in Paris, ON and virtually Ontario wide.

Rebekah Laferriere MSW, RSW PMH-C

Hi! I’m Rebekah.

I am a Registered Social Worker, and Psychotherapist with over twelve years of experience working with clients experiencing trauma, concurrent disorders, perinatal mental health and more.

I work with people who are seeking support to manage everyday stressors, overwhelm and burnout.

My training is on-going, as I continuously seek new opportunities to strengthen and grow my skillset. I have historically been passionate about women’s mental health, parenting challenges, supervision and trauma-informed care.

I have completed my certification with Postpartum Support International. This includes numerous hours of foundational education, regular training and supervision to maintain the designation of a “Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional” (PMH-C).

I have also been a part-time Professor and Program Coordinator for Mohawk College and a Clinical Supervisor to those beginning their careers in psychotherapy.

I work with clients who may be struggling with depression or anxiety related to life stress, parenting, or relationships. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeper into the issues, and come up with a plan together to help you get back to yourself.

I am an approved provider with Victim Services Quick Response Program, and the Non-Insured Health Benefits for First Nations and Inuit People (NIHB).

I currently reside in Norfolk County and offer in-person sessions out of Up Yoga + Wellness in Paris, On.
